nah ritu the question says x<y+epsilon for ALL epsilon>0. u can't work with a specific example of epsilon. what they mean to say is that x<y+1, x<y+0.5, x<y+0.02, x<y+0.0000000000000001 AND SO ON. ab batao x kabhi y se zyada ho sakta hai?

Suppose your Income is 100I. This gives you a profit of 20I. After Tax deduction of 30% leaves you a profit of 14I.
Now for Inflation subtract 5I from 14I.

This gives you a profit of 9I over an income of 100I hence 9%.
Thoroughly unprepared and utterly confused.
